Start with limits you can enforce
- Choose a maximum loss in your everyday currency, not only in BTC, ETH, or another asset whose price can move.
- Set deposit, loss, wager, and session limits where the account offers them. Use the lowest limit that keeps essential spending untouched.
- Treat unsettled bets as money already at risk. Some operators count them toward a loss limit.
- Set a stop time before play. Leave when it arrives, even if the session is in profit.
- Never use money needed for rent, food, bills, debt payments, or a business. Never borrow to gamble.
Know the difference between a limit, a break, and self-exclusion
Casino labels are not consistent, so read the live terms before choosing a control.
- A deposit, loss, or wager limit caps one part of spending over a day, week, or month. It may not block every product on the account.
- A time-out or cool-off blocks gambling for a shorter period. It is useful when you need immediate distance but are not ready to choose a longer exclusion.
- Self-exclusion is designed for a longer stop. It can run for months or remain permanent, and it should not be reversible before the selected period ends.
- Account closure is not automatically self-exclusion. Some reviewed sites will consider reopening a closed account after 24 hours, while self-exclusion can run for months or remain permanent.
What the reviewed casinos offer
Public responsible-gambling policies from reviewed crypto casinos were checked on 20 July 2026. The examples below describe patterns found across those policies, not a universal feature list. Availability can differ by country and account, and an operator can change a control after publication.
- Some sites let users set loss and wager limits for a day, week, or month.
- Short breaks ranged from 24 hours to several months.
- Some policies apply a cooling-off period before closure or reactivation.
- Self-exclusion can have a minimum period, a fixed end date, or no end date.
- Some sites stop bonuses and promotional messages during closure or exclusion.
- Requests may be handled through account settings, live chat, or support email.
Before you confirm self-exclusion
- Read what happens to cash balances, bonus funds, unsettled sports bets, and pending withdrawals. The reviewed policies do not handle these in one standard way.
- Choose the duration carefully. Several reviewed policies say an exclusion cannot be shortened or reversed.
- Save the confirmation email, start date, end date, and support case number.
- Ask the operator to stop email, SMS, push, and other promotional messages.
- Apply exclusions at every other casino you use. One operator cannot block an account held elsewhere.
- Do not create a new account, use another person's details, or disguise your identity to bypass an exclusion. Reviewed terms may close linked accounts and void wagers or winnings.
Crypto needs an extra barrier
A casino limit only controls that casino. It cannot stop you from sending crypto elsewhere. Crypto transfers are also harder to block or reverse than many card or bank payments.
- Remove saved casino logins and shortcuts from every device.
- Move money needed for bills and debt payments away from wallets used for gambling.
- Turn off casino email, SMS, push, Telegram, Discord, and social notifications.
- Install a gambling-site blocker on each phone and computer, not only the device you use most often.
- Ask someone you trust to help check that the blocks remain in place.
Signs that call for stopping now
The World Health Organization describes gambling disorder through impaired control, gambling taking priority over other activities, and continued gambling despite negative consequences. Harm can start before a clinical diagnosis.
- You spend more money or time than planned, then try to recover the loss.
- Bills, work, study, sleep, relationships, or health are being neglected.
- You hide gambling, lie about deposits, or feel guilt and anxiety after playing.
- You borrow money, sell possessions, or move essential household funds into gambling.
- You want to stop but continue opening the casino or planning the next deposit.
If you need to stop today
- Leave the game and do not place a final bet.
- Open the casino's responsible-gambling settings and choose a time-out or self-exclusion. Use support chat or email if the setting is not visible.
- Ask in writing for exclusion across linked accounts and for marketing to stop. Keep the reply.
- Install BetBlocker or another trusted blocker on every device.
- Tell someone you trust. If debt is involved, contact an independent debt-advice service rather than taking another loan.
- Contact independent gambling support. Casino support can apply account controls, but it is not treatment.
Urgent safety
If gambling losses or debt have led to thoughts of self-harm, do not stay alone. Contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country now, and tell someone nearby what is happening. This page cannot provide emergency care.
